How do I deposit fiat currency (e.g. USD) into my Coinhub Exchange account?
Depositing fiat currency into your Coinhub Exchange account is quick and secure. Before starting, make sure your account is fully verified, as identity verification is required for fiat transactions.
- Link a Bank Account: Go to the Funding section in your account and add your bank details. The bank account must be in your name for compliance reasons—third-party deposits are not accepted. We support major currencies including USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, and more, depending on your country.
- Initiate the Deposit: Choose your currency and follow the on-screen instructions for your selected method:
- ACH Transfer (US): Typically takes 4–5 business days. We may credit funds early for trading but restrict withdrawal until the transfer fully clears.
- Wire Transfer: Usually settles same or next business day if initiated before cutoff.
- International or SEPA Transfers: For non-USD deposits, processing times vary between 1–5 business days depending on your country and banking system.
- Confirmation: Once received, your balance will update and you’ll be notified by email or in-app.
All fiat deposits are handled through regulated banking partners, and larger deposits may be subject to additional verification. For your protection, we only accept fiat from accounts in your name and may delay availability if suspicious activity is detected.
