What is Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) and how do I enable it?
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an added security measure that helps protect your account even if someone has your password. When 2FA is enabled, you’ll need to enter a time-sensitive code from an authenticator app (like Google Authenticator or Authy) in addition to your password when logging in or making sensitive changes.
To enable 2FA:
- Log into your Coinhub account.
- Go to Security Settings in your dashboard.
- Select Enable 2FA and scan the QR code with your authenticator app.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app to confirm setup.
Once enabled, this feature helps protect your account from unauthorized access and is required to make certain account changes or withdrawals.
